TRUTH BOMB: YOU CAN’T DIY FOREVER
We all start with humble beginnings. 2021 was a crucial year for me. I was wearing all the hats in my business and that became my biggest bottleneck in scaling the studio. I was juggling the backend of running the studio to holding myself together with all the client projects I had. I was a mess! This chaos ate my energy and had greatly affected the quality of my decisions.
I took a conscious step back last year from all of my projects and assessed — where should my focus be so that I can grow the studio and determine what really matters. What are the gaps from where I was to where I want to be? How can I move the needle in my business. How can I be more than what I was?
Well, one thing I can say from that experience is, you can’t keep on doing everything in your business.
The secret to growing your brand is simple.
You have to let go of the idea that you can do and DIY your way to building a solid brand.
Very often than not, we try and do everything ourselves, without research or strategy hoping that magically, somehow our brand will hit it off without a problem. When we say yes to the concept of I can do everything, we say no to something greater.
We sacrifice precious time that we could have spent working on the more important aspect in your business —

After reflecting on each aspect in my business and refining my internal systems and process, I was able to determine what kind of help I needed to scale my brand to where it is today. I went back to my company’s promise and core values and aligned the studio to that exact energy that I want to communicate. I hired the right people and slowly our team persisted to create a culture of our own. Remember that this is not an overnight process.
